Our meeting room is at La Ferme de l'Arsouille, in Temploux, part of the city of Namur1. The venue holds up to 250 people seated, or 400 standing2. For companies, there is also a second space for the break, and the screen and the bar are on site3.

We hire out the farm for a day, an evening or a weekend4. An association can therefore hire it for a single evening to hold its general meeting.

Meet upstairs, drinks downstairs

The farm has one room on two floors, the ground floor and the upper floor, and we lay both out to suit each event5. A large group can meet upstairs and come down to the ground floor for the break. An indoor staircase rises from the ground floor, right beside the bar6, so participants reach the bar as soon as they come down.

To reach the upper floor, you cross the ground floor7. No other group will be there, because we hire out the farm to only one group per date8. When the meeting ends, the space you use for the break can also host drinks, with enough finger food to replace dinner3. For a full day with lunch, the same two floors serve as a seminar venue.

Setting out the tables: what the floor plan shows

We supply the tables, the chairs and the standing tables, and our rectangular tables convert into round ones9. Round tables help when the agenda splits the group into workshops. Rows of chairs with no tables make the meeting more of a conference.

On our floor plan, the ground floor has three columns set in a row down its middle6. The plan of the upper floor shows none6. That is one more reason to meet upstairs and keep the ground floor for the break.

On the ground floor, the plan shows the toilets in the back corner, with a cloakroom for coats beside them6. People with reduced mobility can use those toilets10.

Screen, projector and sound

There is a projector and a sound system upstairs, and a second set on the ground floor11. A projection screen is provided too11. The presentation can run upstairs, and when the group moves down for drinks, the closing remarks can go through the ground-floor sound system.

By train to Rhisnes or Floreffe

The railway stations nearest the farm are Rhisnes and Floreffe. From Rhisnes, it is a 5 km drive, 9 minutes without traffic12. From Floreffe, the drive is 7 km and also takes 9 minutes without traffic13.

Namur railway station is further away, 14 minutes by car without traffic (9 km)14. If part of your group travels by train, a colleague who drives in can collect them at one of these stations.

From Brussels-Central station by car

Measured from Brussels-Central station, the drive to the farm is 59 km and takes 58 minutes without traffic15. The farm has a large car park of its own, with lighting16.
